Whole dance camp ended alr, the best dance camp ever (: It wasn't so intensive as the ones we had last time. But overall its awesome cos of all the instructors and the things we learnt. Shall blog bout the whole camp (:
Day 1
Went to ODT and there were dancers from AES and BBSS. Carried mats downstairs. Then we started our warm ups in the training shed cos it was raining (: Kinda cramp. Then we had to massage people that we dont know, and hug them or hold hands ._. Lol very awkward. Most of the time we were just sticking around people from our sch, but soon we started to be sociable (:
International artistes were Yu Hosik, Jinjin, Emily. Haha im not really sure bout the jinjin one but thats how dt pronounced it so yeah. They're all from south korea :D Lol everyone was paying attention. Did improvisation with mr yu, workouts with jinjin and emily. Jinjin and emily are a couple. Improvisation is hard and I dont really like it D: Just suck at it. But contempt dance consists mostly of improvisation. Then we had lunch at amoy street food court, then rehearsals.
Damn I really like BBSS's dance. Got kpop movements and they can take of their hair and whip whip whip. The music sounds like those rock kind. And with some peaceful music that keeps saying "forgive meee, forgive meee" in an emotional way. Damn nice (Y) Especially the sec 3 guy. He's so fucking flex and good. Then AES was fan dance, nice eh. We practiced voices and korean dance. Then the finale didn't include us, it was consisting of AES and BBSS. They were dancing to Rolling in the deep. The choreography was niceeee ~
Before we went home we had to carry the mats back up. Ate dinner with lynn at subway.
Day 2
Did the same things as day 1 in the morning, and our dance group damn cute. We asked everyone to wear the same colour tees. So it was white for day 2. Everyone wore except jesslyn -__- Spoiler. Went to sakae sushi for lunch with lynn, jasmine, shannon, linhui, amelia, qianru and germaine. Ended up the bill was $114.90, the price for good food :D But we paid dutch so I paid around $8+ or $9..
had a super good meal there, then went back for rehearsals. Ate dinner with jasmine at amoy street food court.
Day 3
Short day, till 2 only. But it was fucking hot in the morning, the sun was terrible. Got suntanned, my tan lines are obvious. Had improvisation and workout classes as usual, then took train to tpy to lunch with derrick. And kenny happened to be there too lol -__- took cab with derrick and kenny home. Dropped derrick off first, then kenny decided that he wanted to go off first so he gave me $10 and told me to keep the change. LOL nice one.
Day 4
Last day of idp. Best day ever in all the idps (: Reported to sch at 8, then the bus came late. So we reached UCC hall late. Went in the dance studio and everyone gave us the O.o stare, you know what im talking bout right? Then watched a 77 year old Australian lady conduct a master class. But dt only picked those good people in the camp, so that leaves majority of us sitting on the floor watching them conduct the class -__-
Then had improvisation class by Mr Han chang ho, a director of a dance company. And it was harder. Trees moving and water flowing. I dont really know how to express it and I was really shy to do it infront of sooo many people. So didnt do much :/
Finally it was kpop class, by Mr Lee jun yeong. I can totally spazz bout him ♥.♥ He's sooo cool ! Lol damn cute somemore. With a tattoo on his arm and blonde hair. Dressed up so swag. Then he taught us the basics like moving hips and the body. Then we learnt The Boys - Girls generation. Only learnt till the end of the first chorus. Didnt really do so good cos the movements were confusing. Then whenever he tried to explain or show that we're wrong he would make those "mm mm" sounds. And he's kinda humourous (: He made those girly noises while dancing The Boys. After class, everyone rushed to get photos and autographs. Here's mine (;

Watched the rehearsal for 'Leap of faith' Schools such as AES, BBSS, Juying, Yuanching were involved. We weren't involved cos none of the teachers were free to be in-charge of us on those dates -.- We wanted to perform voices but dt said he didnt have the music. Woah cheat our feeling, before that say "After this" which meant after the previous sch's dance.
Ate dinner, then went for the international artistes' interview. 11/11/11 happens to be Tracey, Tessa and Wesley's birthday. We planned a surprise for them (; But wesley knew so it was only the twins. They didnt know. And aft we set up the cake, we sang the birthday song when qianru brought them to the courtyard. Haha tracey was so touched till she cried :') Then shannon went to randomly kiss her. Ate cake, and everyone was playing around with the cream. Cleared up, then went to watch 'Silent Connexion'.
Silent connexion was performed my ms low, mr yu, jinjin and emily. The funny parts were emily and jinjin, I dont really get what they're doing but I guess its just silent communication and connecting movements. Went back by sch bus transport.
Gonna have a performance at ODT tmr, gotta report by 1pm. And I should be having lunch with lynn... Alright, im super tired, heavy eyelids. Goodnight (;
